About LINJERUM Studio and these terms
LINJERUM Studio is a website-building platform that lets organizations create, edit, and publish their own websites without writing code. The platform is provided by: Linjerum ApS Aarhus, Denmark Email: support@linjerum.com CVR no.: 46273249 By creating an account and using LINJERUM Studio, you accept these terms. Linjerum ApS provides the platform; you are responsible for the sites you build and the content you publish on them. If you act on behalf of a company or organization, you warrant that you have the authority to do so. These terms apply to both your use of the Studio editor and the public availability of any sites you publish through it.
What the Studio is for
The platform is intended for building and operating standard public websites — marketing pages, business sites, landing pages, portfolio sites, event pages, and similar content-driven sites. The platform may not be used for: • Illegal content or content that incites violence, hatred, or discrimination • Content that infringes on the intellectual-property rights of others • Phishing pages or other forms of deception • Mass-sending of unsolicited email • Distribution of malware or hosting of malicious scripts • Storage or distribution of sexual content involving minors Linjerum reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts in case of violation of these rules or suspicion of misuse.
Your responsibilities as a customer
As a customer, you are responsible for: • Ensuring all content you publish is accurate, lawful, and appropriate • Having the right to use any images, logos, fonts, and other materials you upload or embed • Complying with relevant legislation, including consumer protection, marketing law, and data protection (GDPR) • Maintaining your own privacy policy, terms, and cookie disclosures for your published site if its content or interactions require it • Handling inquiries and complaints from visitors to your site Linjerum has no influence on or responsibility for the content you publish. Any disputes between you and visitors to your site, or between you and third parties whose materials you have used, are not Linjerum's concern.
Subscription, prices, and VAT
Access to LINJERUM Studio is provided as a subscription. The current pricing is shown on the platform and on linjerum.com. For Danish business customers, prices are stated excluding VAT (moms). Danish VAT is added at checkout where applicable. For consumers and customers outside Denmark, applicable taxes are added according to local rules. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Paid subscription fees are non-refundable for the remainder of the period after cancellation. Linjerum may change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.
Account and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Any activity carried out under your account is considered done by you. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at support@linjerum.com so we can help secure it. We may temporarily restrict access if necessary to protect the platform — for example, in case of a security incident, abuse, or unpaid invoices. Where possible, we will give you notice before doing so.
Content ownership and rights
You retain all rights to the content you upload, write, or otherwise create inside LINJERUM Studio. By using the platform, you grant Linjerum a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, display, and transmit your content for the purpose of operating the platform and serving your published site to visitors. You warrant that you have the necessary rights to all uploaded material and that the material does not infringe on others' rights, is not unlawful, and is not offensive. Linjerum may remove content that is deemed to be in violation of these terms or applicable law. Where reasonable, we will notify you before removing content. The Studio software itself, including its templates, blocks, code, and design system, remains the intellectual property of Linjerum ApS. You may use it as part of your subscription, but you may not copy, resell, or redistribute the platform itself.
Service availability and limitation of liability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Studio and the sites you publish through it may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, deployments, third-party outages, or events outside our control. Linjerum provides the platform as a technical service and assumes no responsibility for: • The content you publish, including its accuracy, legality, or suitability • Disputes between you and visitors to your site • Loss of business, revenue, or data resulting from downtime, outages, or your own configuration choices • Indirect or consequential losses Linjerum's total liability towards you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you have paid in subscription fees during that period. You shall indemnify Linjerum against any claims raised against Linjerum as a result of content you publish or your use of the platform.
Personal data
When you use LINJERUM Studio, we process personal data about you as a customer. This is described in our privacy policy. When you publish a site through the Studio and that site collects personal data from visitors (for example, through a contact form), you are the data controller for the data your visitors submit, and Linjerum acts as data processor for that data. You are responsible for providing your visitors with adequate information about your processing and for complying with GDPR and other relevant legislation. A data processing agreement covering the processor relationship is available on request.
Termination
You may stop using LINJERUM Studio at any time by cancelling your subscription in your account settings. After cancellation, your account and content remain available until the end of the current billing period and are retained for an additional 30 days to allow recovery, after which they are deleted. Linjerum may terminate the cooperation with you if you violate these terms, act in violation of the law, or if repeated problems arise with your use of the platform. In serious cases (illegal content, abuse, security incidents), we may suspend access immediately. Upon termination, any outstanding balance is settled after deduction of fees and any claims.
Other provisions
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts with Aarhus as the venue. Linjerum may change the terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice in the Studio at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that period constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Reservations are made for technical errors and typos.
